"I read an essay by Donna Haraway which had a pretty startling assertion that in the early 1920s, a group was taken into the jungle by the man who ran the Natural History Museum in New York, and that his purpose was to have one of the women kill a gorilla."
Last night, between / the pizza and the death ray / she found out who I was again.
I believe but for the events of this week, Josef would have been in a cell alongside Kropotsky & the others. As things stand it's almost certain he will instead bear witness against his comrades.
