When my mother tells me to do something, or not to do something, it's like I don't have any choice—what she says goes. I hate that feeling, like not being separate from my mom, like I'm an extra arm or leg that always does what she wants.
In my darker works, I like to investigate the relationship of modern humankind in the light of ancient religions.
One's choice of the first SF work is a . . . question of mythology.
A small voice is whispering. / "George . . . George something . . ." / in his ear.
