PS

If you still have money to spare left after the fund drive, I'd direct your attention to these fine projects:

  • Crossed Genres is having a subscription drive, aiming for 600 subscriptions by December. Among many other stories, they published Nisi Shawl's "Black Betty", prequel to our fund drive story "Red Matty". Well worth your time.
  • Our very own Julia Rios is running a fundraiser with Alisa Krasnostein for Kaleidoscope, an all-original YA anthology with a focus on diversity (which you can read more about here). Their target is $12k by the end of October, and if you back the project you can get some other excellent Twelfth Planet Press titles as well.
  • Last but not least, Ellen B Wright and Faye Bi are fundraising for a Diverse Worlds grant for the Speculative Literature Foundation by running the NY marathon. They run on 3rd November, and aiming to raise $2,500 each.
