escáldica escandinava, hoscamente

me he sentado a cenar solo, taciturno,

y he pedido, porque sí, salmón noruego

y cerveza danesa.  Islandia queda

muy cerca de la mesa esta noche.

Mi tristeza

es como esa isla sin árboles hoy;

como su ínvíerno o su noche, mi alma.

 

(Me miran de otras mesas comensales

extrañados de que estampe unos signos

en un papel que saben no es la cuenta

ni recibo de tarjeta de crédito:

 

soy un bárbaro aquí, hablo en poesía,

la lengua muerta que ya nadie entiende)

His latest poetry collection is El bosque sin regreso (2016). His biography of Juan Eduardo Cirlot was also published in 2016.
