Wow.
This was a wonderful story. Thanks!
I especially liked the humor, and the pacing. (The two are, of course, related.)
Favorite bit: "...as we were alone in my apartment there was a shortage of those sorts of things." Great line.
Now I'm off to figure out the Drew Space...

Thanks for publishing this fun, geek-lit story by Daniel Kaysen. I raced over to read it the very instant I received the SH newsletter.
And of course the next thing I did was go and google "Palavatar." Hah!
Palavatar. It's perfect.

At the risk of losing my title, I thought this story was smashing. Quirky style, great pace, wonderfully humorous. It's good to see SH pushing 10 on their phones.

Typo found:
"I just to have give them feedback on their system."
I think this should be: "I just *have to* give them feedback..."

I agree, this story is highly engaging, probably the most fun to read out of all the stories I've read so far at SH (actually, I've only been reading a few weeks... but still a great story). I might just have to send the link for it to some geeks I know... perhaps get 'em hooked on SH!

Lovely scifi geeky version of Bridget Jones' Diary. I mean that in a good way, for those who would think it a slight. Many thanks.

Don't know what happened to my first response...ether ate it, I guess.
Anyway. Just brilliant. I read it even though I was getting late. Couldn't stop. I'll be looking out for Kaysen stories!

I rarely like SF/F humor, but this story was a treat. The line about the UNIX manuals was classic. Thanks for publishing it!
