This really pulled me in: the letter, the mystery, the build-up of clues, the mysterious wife. I felt for the protagonist. Good use of flashbacks. I liked the garden fantasy elements.
And then the ending... sorry to be so clueless, but I just didn't get it. Can someone give me a hint?
