A tapestry, shorn—
tearing through the tattered sleeve—
scarlet, muscle, bone.

Hands
To cradle, touch, love—
phalanges extended to
touch the untouched heart.

Eyes
Stained glass reflection—
redshifted against the wall,
shattered in the panes.
