Jeffrey Johnson is Director of the Music Program at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. An active writer, he has had four acclaimed books on music theory and performance practice published by Greenwood Press and Dover Publications. He reviews classical music for the Hartford Courant and Stamford Advocate. His publications include Piano Lessons in the Grand Style, Piano Mastery, and Thesaurus of Abstract Musical Properties.
