Jeff Foster is influenced by Jan Saudek, Gustav Klimt and Hieronymus Bosch. He is also a poet and tries to incorporate the poets he's influenced by into his photos, such as: Theodore Roethke and Raymond Carver. He is a digital photographer, using 110, 35mm, digital and the scanner as a camera. He tries to create nebulous pictures of the spirituality of buildings, woods, architecture and the human body, bringing a synthesizer type of music to his art.
