Najah Musa was born in Jerusalem, Palestine. Due to Israeli occupation, her family fled to Chicago. She is a mother, educator, and writer. Musa is writing her debut poetry collection and is excited to join her first publication: Strange Horizons. She incorporates themes of women's empowerment,
