Nnedi Okorafor-Mbachu's novel Zahrah the Windseeker (Houghton Mifflin) is scheduled for release in 2005. Her short story "When Scarabs Multiply" was published in So Long Been Dreaming: Postcolonial Science Fiction and Fantasy (ed. Nalo Hopkinson and Uppinder Mehan). Her short story "The Magical Negro" was published in Dark Matter: Reading the Bones (ed. Sheree R. Thomas) in January 2004, and more of her work can be found in Mojo: Conjure Stories (ed.
