Scott Pearson has published a smattering of humor, poetry, short stories, and nonfiction over the last twenty years, including The Mosquito Book, Strange New Worlds 9, Strange New Worlds VII, The Sky's the Limit, and Resort to Murder. He makes his living as an editor for Zenith Press, a military history publisher. He lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with his wife, Sandra, and daughter, Ella. Many of these ti have been growing for decades now.” She paused for a moment. “I think about all the work you guys do, you know, up in those offices, and I think that all of that work actually starts from right here, in the ground, all covered in the earth and the pōhaku and the ti. Most people don’t even know it, but it all starts right here.
