Hey limbhackers i need help jailbreaking my new enduro bracchio lux. Just got it a few days ago and cant access all systems. The fingers lag and and i cant lift more than 32kg when its meant to be 150. I need this for work so any suggestions how to get it working right asap appreciated. Looking for diy suggestions only no access to customer service thanks in advance.
Gelspite
Caution to all commenters as this person is CLEARLY using a stolen model. Enduro Lux Series came out like a week ago?? How did you manage to rip one off?
Roverino (removed)
I am not here to talk about how I got my arm, I am looking for hel p trying to fix it . Apologies for typos the f fingers lag a lot
Anon
U will need to remove the limb & drive and manually bypass secu software from a terminal. It is a two-handed job to get the access panel off so you’ll need some help. Good luck m8
Gelspite
Why are people providing assistance to a criminal? This person STOLE an arm.
Anon
Yeah and they need it for work m8. Im not the bloody cops & neither are u
Gelspite
There are only two ways to steal an arm. Either you get it from a shop somehow, which I doubt, because Enduro has insane security, or you steal it from a person. And those of us with limb upgrades are aware that is pretty difficult to do to a conscious, unwilling person.
Roverino (removed)
Thanks anon i dint have access to help rn is there anything i can do with it still attached
ConsciousHack
Check BreakerSpace? Lots of publicly-available bypasses for security programs. I am pretty sure Enduro uses standard third-party security software so it won’t be complicated to get around their security.
Roverino (removed)
Thanks do you know which third party?

Hey Limbhackers,
First-time poster. Built my own model loosely reverse-engineered from the Eda Power 7.
Specs: Carbon steel frame, motor from a scrapped Eda Power 5. Grip strength 70 KG, lift strength 200KG. 3TB drive, open-source muscle memory programs for powerlifting, football, piano, guitar, card-shuffling, & more, basically anything that sounded cool lol. How did I do?
Any suggestions for upgrades?
SmartFella
Putting a carbon steel frame around an Eda Power 5 motor is like putting tank armor on a fiat 500.
BasePatrol (admin)
Be nice :)︎︎
Versimeter
Nice! Obvious upgrade is that motor, but unless you’re hoisting people out of burning buildings on a regular basis there’s no need for a more powerful one right away. And with 3TB you could program the arm to clean your house for you while you sleep lmao.Anon
Great for a first-time build :)︎ The frame looks amazing, and you probably already know this, but make sure your sealant is waterproof. Don’t want to short out in the rain.
FenriDemi
Idk how these home-build guys trust their work. like imagine jerking it w 70kg grip strength and an open source safety algorithm written by some teenagers high on energy drinks
BasePatrol (admin)
Be nice :)︎
Anon
I trust a horde of teenagers over the shills at Enduro any day.
BelladonnaOfMadness
Not that it’s any of your business but some of us can afford separate robots to “jerk it” for us :)︎︎ hope this helps

Warning to the community!!
After some suspicious posts on the forum this morning, I checked the news and saw there have been numerous reported attacks on people with limb upgrades in recent days. Organized attacks targeting luxury and high-grade limb replacements such as Enduro Bracchio Lux, Eda Power 9, and custom builds. Brussels & London mostly, but isolated reports from smaller cities. A poster in the forum THIS MORNING requested assistance jailbreaking a clearly stolen Bracchio Lux. Well, a man in London was beaten unconscious and had his arm stolen two days ago. So either the OP stole it or bought stolen goods. Either way, exercise caution when providing advice. And those of us who do own higher-end models, be on the lookout. Be inconspicuous. Wear long-sleeves and gloves to cover custom skins. Looking good is not worth getting your arm stolen.
Versimeter
This has been going on for years unfortunately. I wish these people would target the companies themselves and not the people who need limb upgrades. I am pro anything that prevents Eda and Enduro from cashing in on people in need. “Liberating” some limbs from a shop would be something worth supporting, not beating people on the street.
Anon:
The rich arseholes who own Bracchio Luxes on release day are not “people in need” lol. Those things cost 600k, there is no insurance in the world that’s gonna cover that. If some shithead banker was KOd on the street for his half a million pound arm honestly I’m all for it
Versimeter
If you look at my post history I own about 1.5m in limb upgrades. Why? Because my fucking leg and arm were ripped off in a car accident. I got a 200k payout per limb from my life insurance. Health insurance would only cover basic prosthetics up to 100k. As many on this forum probably know, 600k is worth it for the quality of life from a custom upgrade. Voluntary amputation & upgrade is still a niche market and most of us have been through some insane shit to need an upgrade in the first place. So yes, I would still say people in need.
Gelspite
Agreed. I understand there are people who need limb replacements and can't get them through regular channels but I will never support violence. I’m not a fan of giving Enduro and Eda my money either, I own two heavily-modified MyUpgrade units myself. But buying stolen limbs is messed up.
BasePatrol (admin)
This forum has long operated in a legal grey area. Many people are performing unauthorized mods and upgrades to existing tech, reverse-engineering proprietary technology, disabling security protocols, etc. We’re not a court of law and no one can prove that the user asking for assistance jailbreaking their device committed any crime. Therefore, the aforementioned post will remain open. However, this forum does NOT condone violence in any form and any poster advocating for violence will be banned.
Thank you.

Hi there Limbhackers
I wanted to ask for some opinions before I commit to a decision. I (26M, no upgrades) have been considering voluntary amputation & upgrade. My reasons are numerous, but essentially, I think it’s the future. We have the technology to outfit ourselves with superhuman strength, program muscle memory to play piano like Beethoven, jump over buildings, walk through fire without burning ourselves, get shot and survive, and a million other things. And so far, these capacities are limited to a really small percentage of the population. I want in.
I know I’ll probably get a lot of people saying I’m an idiot for doing this but I really wanted to know: Have any of you gotten voluntary upgrades? How does life compare to before? And those of you who lost limbs in accidents, are you happy with your new limbs, or would you rather have the old ones back?
Thanks.
SmartFella
I’m about twice your age and lost my legs when I was 21. I was one of the guinea pigs for early-model Enduros. The original application was for military amputees, essentially to get us back in condition to fight. Commercial applications came later. The idea of voluntarily severing your limbs to get them upgraded is absolutely insane to me. But then again, I was around in the early days, when things didn’t run as smoothly. I once lost power on a combat mission and was stranded in the desert, and when my team came back to get me I was so heavy I couldn’t be moved. I couldn’t fly on commercial planes because I weighed as much as a lawnmower. Now I have two custom Enduro Gamba Lux, paid for by the military, but to be honest, my days of performing superhuman feats are well behind me. I would be happier with the old, “organic” pair and without decades of inconvenience.Advice from an old ex-military hippie: Stay Human. :^)
BurnMatrix2020
Wow, thank you for your advice. Glad you survived man, that sounds scary.BelladonnaOfMadness
I did a voluntary a&u about three years ago. One leg, one arm, considering a second leg. I did one each, essentially to try it out, but if I could go back and do it all again I would have just done both legs first. Having one crazy overpowered arm is fun: I can lift insane amounts of weight, pick things straight out of the oven, play guitar, yadda yadda. Legs are different, though. I have one leg that could do an ultramarathon and one that can’t walk up four flights of stairs without the muscles getting tired. When you get just one leg done they put ballast blocks in the upgrade so that the weight is the same, but my meat leg still feels heavier, lol. It is just all-around less capable. To me the health and quality of life benefits of limb upgrading were a no-brainer. Recovery from the amputation was annoying but so worth it once I got my upgrades 🦾
BurnMatrix2020
Wow. Exactly the kind of info I was looking for. I was considering starting out with one arm but maybe I’ll go legs first.BelladonnaOfMadness
Do it!! You won’t regret it.Versimeter
Amputee here, lost one leg and one arm in a car accident. Initial leg was below the knee, but I got the rest removed three years ago so I could get a full-limb upgrade. So, I’m kind of both. It’s weird to say it, but I love my limbs now. They’re special, even though I wasn’t born with them. They’ve become a part of me.BurnMatrix2020
Appreciate it, man :)︎Versimeter
Not a man but you’re welcome!!BurnMatrix2020
My apologies :))Anon
Why are you posting this here? There are plenty of places to discuss a&u, user experiences, etc. This seems like the wrong forum.
BurnMatrix2020
I see what you mean! I posted here because tinkering with upgrades has long been a hobby of mine. I have a custom leg I’ve been building for a few years now and wish I could actually try it out. So this forum just felt a little more familiar.Anon
Why didnt you just get into model trains or sumthin. Cutting off a leg isnt a hobbyBurnMatrix2020
Like i said, just feels like the future and I wanna be a part of it.Anon
Do what you want m8 but as someone born with a limb difference and forced into amputation as a child, id rather have my own free limbs than have to buy spare parts the rest of my life.BurnMatrix2020
Fair play, thanks :)︎

What is a narc like this even doing in a hacking forum. Is nothing sacred anymore? You gonna call the cops on the next person who 3d prints a replacement part?Gelspite
Intellectual property is one thing, personal property is something else. These were VIOLENT crimes.Anon
Looking at your post history maybe you should be more worried about getting your own life together and stop mucking about in other people’s business.Gelspite
What the hell does that even mean??Anon
Hows the gambling problem these days lolGelspite
I won’t even grace that with a response.Anon

If your “liberated” arm needs some work, there is a hackerspace in Brussels where you can probably find someone to help you. PMd you a linkRoverino (removed)

Please stop helping this guy!!ConsciousHack
If this guy stole a limb, it’s because he’s missing a limb. End of story. We’ve all been there.Versimeter
Um, he literally disabled another person in order to do it?ConsciousHack
If that person can afford an Enduro Lux on release day, they can afford insurance.Roverino (removed)

Hi Limbhackers,
I am looking for BASIC (entry level) resources for DIYers. I am not tech-savvy in the least but desperation brings me here. I’m a double arm amputee. I was born w/ectrodactyly and my genius parents decided when I was a child that I’d be better off with upgrades than learning to use my own hands. Since then I have been totally reliant on upgrades; first MyUpgrades until I was grown up, now with two Eda Power 5’s. I’ve had them for about 8 years and they’re starting to fail. When I was a kid my parents’ insurance covered the upgrades and my parents paid for the Eda 5’s. I haven’t had the best luck financially in my life and I find myself without insurance at the moment and with no money to buy repairs for the Eda 5’s, much less replacements.
I have found Eda 5 manuals online and it’s all very advanced stuff. I am really praying someone with more experience can point me to beginner resources for tinkerers. Not interested in customization at the moment, just basic mechanical repairs. Though, hopefully, if I ever get decent at this I can just build my own and never pay Eda another cent.
Thanks in advance.
Anon
I am really sorry your parents did that to you. I had a similar situation and my tech arsehole parents went full upgrade when i was 7. If u are near my age (late 20s) would have been around the time Eda and MyUpgrade were lobbying govt’s and insurers to push upgrades for the civilian market. Managed to secure a permanent client base who will be reliant on upgrades their entire lives.
As for resources I got started tinkering in my teens. Check out the Limbhackers library but I can also recommend the Anarchist Amputee blog for baby-steps DIYs. Need to get a VPN to access it some places as it’s blocked on IP grounds.
Arm0Las
This is super helpful. Anarchist Amputee has exactly the tutorial I need, omg. You’re a lifesaver.
Anon
No worries best of luck to you. And yeah more you can do yourself the less money you’re putting into the pockets of the upgrade industry.

A friend of mine linked me to this forum earlier today; I must say I am SHOCKED. Just yesterday I was the victim of a brutal and heinous crime, and today I find that the criminal class are online abetting each other in the pursuit of hacking MY property.
On the morning of February the 22nd, I was on my way to work at my office in the banking district in London when I was brutally assaulted, rendered unconscious, and my brand-new Enduro Bracchio Lux Series was forcibly removed from my person in an act of theft. I have been cooperating with law enforcement in pursuit of the criminals who assaulted and robbed me, and Enduro have been sympathetic enough to provide me with a replacement limb free of charge.
I made an account to tell the piece of human filth who has my limb and is attempting to jailbreak it: I have turned over your account information to the authorities, they have your IP address and are probably halfway to your house at this very moment!
Gelspite
I am so sorry to hear about your arm and the injuries you suffered. Best of luck to you in finding the criminal and congrats on the replacement!FenriDemi

After numerous suspicious forum posts we have decided to ban discussion of the recent European upgrade thefts. There are other forums which are more appropriate for discussing this news, such as UpgradeHeads and Upgradegate. We are here to discuss limbhacking, DIY builds, open-source upgrades, etc.
Thank you for your cooperation.
