Antonio Funches is a young man who has faced and dealt with depression and anxiety attacks since childhood due to excessive bullying. Antonio and his sister were abandoned by their parents as toddlers, and finally got adopted by their grandmother. Writing became Antonio's object of peace, allowing him to vent out any pessimism.
Lev Mirov is a doctoral student in Tolkien Studies by day, and a novelist, poet, and medievalist by night. He has an MFA in crip ballet and decolonial theory, and lives on Piscataway lands with his husband Aleksei Valentìn. Serthe’P needed to remember that their lives mattered too much to be reduced by a tyrant’s ideology. Separated from the cast, they were still finding ways to take care of each other.
