The starry audience

waits with bated breath

for the conclusion

of the docudrama

where certain personas

have been blended

into one for the sake

of dramatic clarity.

Satisfied with

the drama's conclusion,

every knife and lover

in its place

woven from cloth

whole and tattered,

the starry audience

leans back in their

recliners to consider

the globed hemisphere.

Beyond the globe

the sun continues

to melt in its tracks.
