Come! Drink this milk! It has dissolved the moon.

See what it can do for you. The virgin

forest lying in the path of progress. . .

And how long has your prey eluded you?

Time now to give up the chase. Though a man,

your brother clings to his childish faith. . .

He hangs by a bowstring from heaven's vault,

just another arrow poisoned with words

drawn from an idol's mouth. There is no god.

There is only you, in a nun's habit,

reflecting on the worlds that might have been.

Why don't you leave the past behind you? Please,

pull the shades. Embrace this, the Cup of Truth,

and drink, Diana—to our solution.

Water is life here, and it's evident in that if you stray too far off the beaten path and away from water, you will get lost and you’ll be lucky if anyone sees you again before sundown. My village is settled neatly between two gentle rolling mesas and along a thin river in a sparsely populated community lovingly called ‘the valley’.
In the beginning, the ocean was lonely / and so she created a fifteen-year-old girl / (or was it the other way around?)
It’s me not you, and the / Hole in the sky still weeps sticky tears.
