Strange Horizons Gallery Presents...

Vladislavas Yushkenas

Vladislavas Yushkenas was born in North-Caucasus and has been living in the Lithuanian Republic since 2000. His art is not only fantasy, but musical as well. Music and painting are closely interwoven in his creative life. At times, he becomes completely absorbed in the harmony and improvisation of creating music and is only able to concentrate on painting by giving up the guitar for a month. Attracted by its versatility, he prefers to paint in oils on fibrous wooden panel. His art is shown in the Agora Gallery, Soho, New York, and at Art-Mine.com.
