the ladies with wide, green leaves.
Misha and Yura are sweeping the water
away from the walk where it
rolled and splashed during the summer rain.
Anya and Liza are laughing
while Katia and Igor tell stories by the fire.
I am weeping for old memories
of my favorite life in Odessa.
