Captain Womack recruited me as Hollywood's liaison to the military-entertainment complex, saying they needed more Tinseltown savvy over at Task Force Loki: the only covert operations team with its own reality show. I mean, in addition to the news, which we help program without even asking for credit.
"I think we've always lived with the sense that 'something' happened in the past. [...] We have this inexplicable feeling that things were once much better."
I hesitate to blame the technology, but the fact remains that I can (and often do) read books in public without ever once voicing a response, but the audiobooks make me talk to myself.
