Rebecca Roanhorse is an Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo and African-American writer of rez-based fantasy and Indigenous futurisms. She is also a lawyer and Yale graduate. She lives in northern New Mexico with her daughter, husband, and pug. Her debut novel, Trail of Lightning, is slated for publication with Saga Press (Simon & Schuster) Summer 2018.
