More comics for the Visual Arts special! Here, we present to you, “Which One Is Meat,” a short tale about domestic magic written by Nadia Shammas and illustrated by Isabel Burke.


 



Nadia Shammas is a Palestinian-American writer from Brooklyn, NY. She's best known for her work in comics as the co-creator of the upcoming graphic novel SQUIRE, as well as the creator and curator of CORPUS: A Comic Anthology of Bodily Ailments. Isabel Burke is a comic artist and illustrator, set to graduate from SCAD in 2022 with a degree in Illustration and a minor in Sequential Art. Beyond illustration, she loves museum visits, watching historical dramas, cooking, and playing with her cat, Bubbles.
